According to reports, in view of the broadband user scenario, combined with the progress of the industry chain, China Telecom adopted the VoWiFi scheme of S2b non-credit (ePDG), successfully built a traceable VoWiFi service that meets the national regulatory requirements, and realized the accurate positioning of VoWiFi users and 5G terminals to support VoWiFi.

At present, China Telecom has carried out the current network pilot deployment of VoWiFi service with end-to-end traceability in five provinces and cities, including Shanghai, Guangdong, Sichuan, Guizhou and Zhejiang, and has carried out close cooperation with OPPO, Xiaomi, vivo and other terminal manufacturers to carry out relevant terminal testing and verification, which has been successful.
