CTOnews.com May 17 news, Godson Zhongke's latest 3A6000 desktop processor has been released, but has not yet been officially released. CTOnews.com found from the Linux kernel patch submission record that Godson has begun to adapt Linux for 3A6000 and prepare for the release.

A Loongson engineer, "Huacai Chen", released the patch and added a hardware page table querier. The patch points out that the Godson LoongArch 3A6000 family of processors and newer versions have hardware page table traversal (PTW) support and can handle all fast paths to TLBI / TLBL / TLBS / TLBM exceptions through hardware.

The current Godson 3A5000 series works well on Linux, and Linus, the father of Linux, incorporated most of the code from the Godson LoongArch CPU architecture into Linux 5.19 as early as June 2022, followed by some patch updates.

According to Godson officials, 3A6000 is still in the process of production, currently plans to launch products in the fourth quarter, and believes that 3A6000's performance is comparable to 7nm's AMD's Zen 2, which is equivalent to Intel's 10th generation Core.

Parameters, 3A6000 main frequency for 2.5GHz, using four-core, dual DDR4-3200 memory channel design, SPEC CPU2006 single-threaded fixed-point base score more than 40 points, floating-point score more than 50 points, multi-threaded fixed-point score more than 140,130 floating-point score, the overall performance of Intel's 10th generation core.
