CTOnews.com, May 17 / PRNewswire-Asianet /-- Samsung's official blog today announced an update to Galaxy Buds2 Pro wireless headphones that will bring increased ambient volume to people with hearing impairment and will be launched in the coming weeks. Samsung said the ambient sound function will receive two additional levels, will provide a total of five levels of volume amplification, and "provide more users with the benefits of improving their hearing".

A clinical trial conducted by the University of Iowa hearing aids and Aging Research Laboratory demonstrated the efficacy of the new ambient sound function, concluding that Galaxy Buds2 Pro wireless headphones "significantly improve speech perception in people with mild to moderate hearing loss." A similar trial conducted by Samsung Medical Center found that Galaxy Buds2 Pro "may be an effective tool to help people with mild to moderate hearing loss communicate better in quiet places." With the update, users can use different ambient sound levels for the left and right earplugs, so they can fine-tune the desired magnification according to their ears, and customize the range of tones from soft to clear at five different stages; by adjusting the ambient sound, you can also automatically adapt to the ear.
