CTOnews.com, May 17 (Xinhua)-- Google began to push Android 13 QPR3 Beta 3.2 update today, bringing more improvements to Pixel phones, with emphasis on connection repair.

Google states that this update applies to specific devices, which means that you must currently have a qualified device running Android 13 QPR3 Beta. If your device is running a different version of the operating system, such as Android 14 Beta, you will not see this update or access it.

This update does not introduce significant new features, but it does bring a number of fixes, many of which focus on connectivity issues within the operating system, and some of the more important fixes include resolving disconnected Wi-Fi calls, making cellular connections more reliable, and ensuring that SIM cards are detected periodically by the operating system to prevent service disconnections and incorrect activation.

Fixed an issue with system UI input synchronization that caused the window to stop receiving touch input or to receive touch input in the wrong location.

Fixed an issue that could cause an unexpected disconnection over a Wi-Fi call.

Fixed an issue that might prevent the SIM card from being detected or activated correctly during phone setup.

Fixed an issue where the device may not be able to register IMS with Wi-Fi when it leaves LTE coverage and enters Wi-Fi coverage.

Fixed an issue that caused an unexpected decline in the speed or reliability of cellular connections.

If you are currently running Android 13 QPR3 Beta, you will see this update, and users can also enter the Settings-system menu, and then go to the system updates section to manually download and install the update. If you use the Verizon version of the Pixel 6 series device, you will get an update with the build number T3B3.230413.009 / .A1, or T3B3.230413.003 for all other devices.

It is important to note that if you are using a brand new Pixel 7a phone, you will not be able to download this update at this time.
