CTOnews.com May 16, Solidigm today launched the D5-P5430 series QLC data center SSD, optimized for mainstream and read-intensive workloads.

According to reports, as a direct substitute for TLC NAND-based PCIe SSD, D5-P5430 QLC SSD can reduce the TCO (total cost of ownership) of typical object storage solutions by up to 27%, increase storage density by 1.5 times, and reduce energy costs by 18%. In addition, the write life of Solidigm's latest SSD can be increased by up to 14% compared to TLC SSD.

The D5-P5430 series supports 1U and 2U server storage configurations, available in U.2, E1.s, and E3.s specifications:

U.2 15mm 3.84 TB-30.72 TB

E1.s 9.5mm 3.84 TB-15.36 TB

E3.s 7.5mm 3.84 TB-30.72 TB
