CTOnews.com May 16 news, Photomator is an image editing application developed by the Pixelmator team, initially launched only on the iOS platform, today officially launched on Mac App Store. The app aims to simplify common photographer workflows and provide powerful color adjustment, batch editing and artificial intelligence-enhanced editing tools.

The price of Photomator is $4.99 per month (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 35 yuan), $29.99 per year (currently about 209 yuan) or an one-time payment of $99 (currently about 689 yuan). If you have already purchased the iOS version of Photomator, you can use the Mac version for free.

Photomator supports more than 600 file formats, including Apple's ProRAW format. Users can use comprehensive color adjustment tools and filters to edit the picture, or you can select to modify some areas of the picture. The artificial intelligence selection tool allows the user to easily separate the body or background of the picture, and the user can also use a brush to manually select it, or use a gradient mask. Photomator also has other artificial intelligence-driven features, such as intelligent automatic clipping, advanced noise reduction, super-resolution enhancement, and so on.

The Pixelmator team currently maintains two Mac applications, Pixelmator Pro and Photomator. In a nutshell, Photomator contains a subset of Pixelmator Pro functions, as well as some additional features for photographers' needs.
