The prices of general entry-level CVM and general network-optimized CVM are reduced by 60% to RMB 240 and RMB 806.4 respectively, the price of Cloud Security Center is reduced by 50% to RMB 360, and the price of cloud disk backup is reduced by 50% to RMB 7.2.The price reduction policy will take effect on May 17.

CTOnews.com reported earlier today that Tencent Cloud also announced a price reduction for a number of core cloud products today, with a maximum reduction of 40% for some product lines. The price reduction policy will take effect on June 1. In addition, last month, Aliyun also announced the largest price cut in history, with core product prices cut across the board by 15% to 50%, and storage products by as much as 50%.
