CTOnews.com May 16, according to the latest news from Digitimes, MediaTek is expected to integrate Nvidia GPU into its next generation of flagship mobile processors as early as 2024.
It is reported that in addition to jointly developing a mobile platform to enhance the artificial intelligence and gaming capabilities of MediaTek processors, MediaTek and Nvidia will also work together to develop WOA (Windows on Arm) platform products for notebook applications. At the same time, sources added that WOA platform products, supported by Nvidia's GPU and AI technologies, will help the two companies break into the notebook market.
As previously reported by CTOnews.com, MediaTek's upcoming flagship mobile phone processor, named Tianji 9300, is expected to be launched in the second half of this year. The model of the Nvidia GPU may be the Tianji 9400 series.
At present, MediaTek's Arm PC chips are mostly used in middle and low-end Chromebook. Last year, MediaTek released the Kompanio 1380 chip, using 6nm technology. The Xunqi 1380 is equipped with 8 core CPU, including 4 Arm Cortex-A78 cores and 5 core Arm Mali-G57 GPU.
