According to the announcement, the Science and Technology Ethics Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology is responsible for overall planning, standardizing, guiding and coordinating the governance of science and technology ethics in the industrial and information fields, and studying and proposing norms for the governance system of science and technology ethics in the industry and information fields. establish and improve the examination and supervision system of science and technology ethics in the industry and information field, and organize the investigation and handling of major science and technology ethics cases in the industry and information field. We will organize research on major issues of science and technology ethics in the field of industry and information technology, organize publicity and education on science and technology ethics, and promote international cooperation and exchanges in science and technology ethics governance in key areas.

The expert Committee on Ethics of Science and Technology in the Field of Industry and Information Technology works under the leadership of the Committee on Ethics of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, provides decision-making advisory support and conducts expert review of ethics of science and technology. The expert committee covers policy, technology, management, ethics, law and other multi-disciplinary experts, and the secretariat is located in the China Academy of Information and Communications.
