CTOnews.com learned from Amazon's official press release that the new game, which will feature the Lord of the Rings trilogy and the story of the Hobbit, has not yet been named and is still in the early stages of production and will be available on PC and the mainframe platform.

Amazon Games CEO Christoph Hartmann told IGN in a new interview that the goal of the game is to become the largest MMO game.
