CTOnews.com May 16 news, Microsoft announced in April this year, today officially opened to the global Win10, Win11 users a new version of Phone Link application, you can send and receive Apple iMessage messages on the PC side.

Through Win10, the Phone Link app on Win11 and the Link to Windows app on iOS, iPhone users can answer phone calls, send and receive text messages and view notifications directly on their computers.

This means that Win11 can use iMessage indirectly, but CTOnews.com notes that there are some limitations, such as not supporting group chat, pictures, videos, and history.

It is also worth noting that there is no distinction between iMessage and SMS text messages on the PC side, and all messages are displayed in the same gray bubble.

Microsoft says iPhone must be running iOS 14 or later, and iPad or Mac does not provide this feature.
