CTOnews.com, May 16 (Xinhua)-- Warner Bros. Discovery announced on Monday local time that James Cameron's film will be available on Disney Plus and the company's own Max streaming service. (CTOnews.com Note: the platform is scheduled to launch in the United States on May 23).

In fact, it's a bit rare for a high-profile movie like "Avatar" to make its debut on multiple streaming services at the same time, but with a new agreement between Disney and Warner Media in 2021, HBO Max (soon to be Max) can share the rights to films released by Disney's 20th Century Studios in 2022 with Hulu and Disney+.

"Avatar's way of Water" was first released in theaters in December 2022, and the film was another huge success for Cameron.

According to Warner Bros. Discovery, the film is now "the third highest-grossing film of all time at the global box office," after Avatar and Avengers 4: the final Battle.
