Microsoft's Azure cloud service has been censored by the EU's antitrust authorities, citing concerns that Microsoft is using its market power to crowd out competitors.

EU regulators are reported to have questioned competitors and customers about possible violations of Microsoft's cloud services as part of an informal investigation. EU antitrust authorities want to know whether Microsoft is using the confidential information to compete with cloud service providers in the market, said two people familiar with the matter, who spoke on condition of anonymity.

Subsequently, Microsoft announced a new set of artificial intelligence solutions and improvements to provide better cloud services for non-profit organizations. Microsoft says the new AI suite aims to change the way the non-profit industry and fundraisers reach out to donors, manage activities and optimize operations.

On the same day, Microsoft's nearly $69 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard was approved by EU regulators.
