The two phones add more special features and applications for military missions to the tactical version of the Galaxy S20 launched last year.

It is reported that the two military phones are equipped with Android team awareness tool (Android Team Awareness Kit,ATAK) and battlefield-assisted trauma distributed observation tool (Battlefield Assisted Trauma Distributed Observation Kit,BATDOK) and other applications. ATAK can improve the real-time situational awareness of fighters, and BATDOK can collect and distribute real-time information about the wounded.

In addition, the two phones meet the security requirements of the US military, are protected by Samsung Knox and Knox Dual Data at Rest (DualDAR), and meet the requirements of the National Security Agency (NSA) to protect confidential data. Samsung DeX technology is also a highlight of the two phones, which allow military law enforcement agencies to use phones instead of laptops in cars.
