Thanks to CTOnews.com netizen OC_Formula for the clue delivery! CTOnews.com, May 15, FriendlyELEC (friendly Electronics) launched the NanoPC-T6, a single board computer that is larger than a typical raspberry pie Raspberry Pi Model B and has a lot of input and output functions.

The NanoPC-T6 computer with a 110mm x 80mm (4.3in x 3.1in) computer features a Rucore microRK3588 chip, up to 16 GB memory, up to 256 GB eMMC storage and M.2 slots for optional PCIe NVMe SSD, two 2.5GbE Ethernet ports, support for three monitors, and a display input for video, starting at $100 (currently about RMB 696).

The NanoPC-T6 calculator board has a variety of configurations to choose from:

4GB LPDDR4x-2133 RAM / 32GB eMMC storage, priced at $100 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about RMB696)

8GB LPDDR4x-2133 RAM / 64GB eMMC storage, $120 (currently about RMB835)

16GB LPDDR4x-2133 RAM / 256GB eMMC storage, priced at $149( currently about 1037 yuan)

Users can also pay an extra $20 for a protective case or other optional features such as an M.2 Wi-Fi card, an IR controller or a 12V / 2A power adapter.

Equipped with Ruixin micro RK3588 chip, the board has four ARM Cortex-A76 CPU cores, four Cortex-A55 cores, Mali-G610 graphics, a neural processing unit with up to 6 TOPS AI performance, and a video processor. It supports selected codecs, including H.265 and VP9, that can handle 8K / 60fps playback.

The calculator board port includes:

The board also has a 40-pin GPIO connector, MIPI-CSI and MIPI-DSCI connectors, an M.2 2280 slot for optional SSD and an M.2 2230 slot for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth cards, and an infrared receiver for remote control.

FriendlyELEC said that NanoPC-T6 computers support a variety of operating systems, including Ubuntu 22.04, Debian 10 or 11, Android 12, and some custom Linux distributions, including FriendlyCore Lite 20.04 based on Ubuntu and FriendlyWrt based on OpenWrt.
