According to Taiwan's Economic Daily, Apple's new iPhone 15 series this year is not affected by the downturn in the mobile phone market, and its initial stock volume remains at last year's high level, with 85 million units starting and 9000 million units on the market.

According to sources, Apple has ordered suppliers to prepare iPhone 15 components, including material manufacturers in Japan and South Korea and major closed test plants have received requirements to support pre-operation, while TSMC is steadily increasing 3nm monthly production capacity.

The market expects that the high-end Pro version of Apple's iPhone 15 series of new phones will use the latest A17 chip, which will be produced by TSMC 3nm process, which is the largest source of orders for TSMC 3nm at this stage, while other models will continue to use the existing A16 chip, which will be manufactured by TSMC 4nm.

However, last year, some Taiwanese media pointed out that the price of TSMC's 3nm contract manufacturer was as high as US $20, 000 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about RMB 139000), and in recent months, it has often been reported that Apple is the only customer of TSMC 3nm, and the contract manufacturing cost has risen sharply, so I am afraid that the price of two new models of the Pro series will rise.

Research firm Counterpoint Research's latest forecast also points out that Apple's iPhone market share in the United States still increased in the first quarter of this year compared with the same period last year, from 48% to 53%, regardless of external factors such as inflation. Apple is the only smartphone brand in the world that is growing in shipments this year. IPhone shipments are expected to grow by 4% this year, better than the decline of 2% in the global industry.
