1. Separation of DC and DNS

II. Experimental environment:

1. Prepare three original clean Windows Server 2008 R2 operating systems on virtual machines

2. DNS server IP address is 172.18.11.2 dns is 172.18.11.2

3. The IP address of DC server is 172.18.11.1 dns is 172.18.11.2

4. The client's ip address is 172.18.113 dns is 172.18.11.2

5. Test connectivity of three virtual machines and ping each other

III. Experimental procedure:

Install DNS first then DC

In addition to configuring the IP address before installing the DNS server, I also changed the name of the computer to SDP, and after modifying the hostname, the computer needs to be restarted to take effect.

Next to install DNS, first open Server Manager and click Add Role.

Select DNS Server in Select Server Role and select Next until the installation is complete.

4. First click Start--> Server Management Tools--> at the bottom left, then open DNS Manager and configure DNS in this interface, expand the DNS drop-down list, right-click Forward Search Zone, and select New Zone.

5. New Region Select the main region. Then click Next.

6. Set the name of the new zone to ping.com.

7. Select Allow dynamic updates and click Next until the creation is complete.

8. Create a Host A record in this newly created zone that points to DNS itself.

9 Modify SOA record to hostname + domain name.

10. For the fully qualified domain name of the server, fill in the dns server hostname + domain name, and the ip address is the address of the DNS itself.

DNS is done.

Next, start building DC.

1. In addition to configuring the IP address before installing DC, I also changed the name of the computer to PDS, and the host name was modified to restart the computer before it could take effect.

2. First of all, let's build DC. Open Server Manager and click Add Role. When you select Domain Control, the following window will pop up. Click the marked option.

3. Then select Active Directory Domain Services and select Next until the installation is complete.

4. After installing the domain control service in the server manager, secondary configuration is required.

Enter in the Run box. Enter dcpromo

5. Click Next.

6. Select Create Domain in New Forest

7.. The domain created in DC should be consistent with the name of the primary domain added in DNS.

8. Remove the DNS service option.

9. After that, you will see that the registration failed, click Yes, and then go to the next step.

Enter a password that is important to downgrade the domain and click Next until the installation is complete.

11. Do not restart after completing the installation, first turn off the domain firewall, and then restart.

12. At this time in the DNS manager refresh forward resolution will appear the following records, indicating that the build was successful.

13. Next open the client to test, rename the client SD, and restart.

14. And then go to change the host name of the place to add domain,

15. Before you join, a box will appear to enter your username and password. You need to fill in the domain control domain management account and password.

16. The following indicates that joining the domain was successful.

Points to note in the experiment:

First DNS: (1) Select New Primary Domain in New Domain

(2) Option to allow dynamic updates

Create a Host A record pointing to DNS itself

DC: (1) Pay attention to the IP address of DNS (2) Create a domain with the same name as DNS on DC (3) Remember to turn off the domain firewall before joining the domain
