CTOnews.com, May 14, according to foreign media SamMobile, Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Z Flip5 folding screen phone will support Samsung DeX, making it the smallest Galaxy phone to support DeX.

Samsung DeX is a tool that allows users to turn Samsung phones and tablets into workstations with PC-like interfaces. This desktop also supports wireless or HDMI projection to an external display, such as a smart TV or monitor, and can be connected to standard input devices such as a mouse and keyboard.

Samsung currently offers DeX applications for Windows and macOS, which users only need to use USB-C data cables and Galaxy phones.

Foreign media said it is not clear whether the old Galaxy Z Flip phone can be upgraded to support Samsung DeX.

Samsung is also expected to launch Galaxy Watch 6 watches at the same event, as well as Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S9 + and Tab S9 Ultra flagship tablets.
