The center is jointly built by Chongqing Economic and Information Commission, Chongqing Liangjiang New District Management Committee, Huawei and China soft International. The scope of construction includes public service platform, enterprise incubation platform, talent training platform, industrial ecological platform and artificial intelligence demonstration zone.

According to CTOnews.com query, Chongqing artificial Intelligence Innovation Center is a model project of Chengdu-Chongqing hub node of big data Center for National Integration of "calculation from East to West". The project invests 1.18 billion yuan, and the first phase of the project covers an area of about 10 mu. It is composed of computing platform, software platform and supporting computer room, including data center, exhibition hall and switch station, with a construction area of more than 5000 square meters and a computing power scale of 400p. The computing speed reaches 4 billion times per second, which is widely used in the training and reasoning of artificial intelligence algorithms, attracting 29 computing power users, including China Metallurgical Sadie, Chang'an, Teslian, Chongqing University of posts and Telecommunications, etc., providing a computing scale of more than 320p, with a utilization rate of about 85%.

According to officials, the computing equipment of the Chongqing artificial Intelligence Innovation Center mainly uses a series of domestic Huawei processors, which will provide computing support for local digital enterprises to develop artificial intelligence applications when completed. Among them, MCC Sadie will be responsible for the system design, procurement, supply, integration and debugging of the software and hardware of the data center supercomputing platform, and will take the industrial Internet platform independently developed by MCC Sadie as the digital base. At the same time, integrate the equipment and computing resources of Huawei, Teslian and other artificial intelligence enterprises to promote the clustering of advanced computing industry in Chongqing. Accelerate the demonstration application of artificial intelligence in intelligent manufacturing, autopilot, smart city and other fields.

Take Metallurgical Sadie Information as an example. Based on Teng AI Framework MindSpore and Atlas 500 intelligent stations, the Innovation Center builds a QTouch Yunbian collaborative system in China Metallurgical Sadie Information Wisdom City. Based on the smart city QTouch platform and AI intelligent algorithm, the algorithm model is sent to the edge terminal to provide customers with unmanned video supervision, automatic inspection capability, and reduce the construction cost of infrastructure such as wiring in remote places and the labor cost of patrol inspection. Improve the efficiency of supervision and inspection to reduce cost and increase efficiency. At present, the scheme has been commercially landed.

It is reported that the follow-up plan of Chongqing artificial Intelligence Innovation Center will provide computing services for 25 units in the first batch, covering self-driving, intelligent manufacturing, smart cities, biomedical and other specific application scenarios.
