According to reports, the Enping 20-4 offshore drilling platform is composed of an upper block and a jacket. The deck area of the upper block is equivalent to that of nine basketball courts and weighs more than 15000 tons.

Li Zhenning, general manager of the development project team of CNOOC Enping Oilfield Group, pointed out that the Enping 20-4 platform integrates the leading intelligent and unmanned technology in the global oil and gas industry and has the function of "typhoon unmanned production". When a typhoon strikes, workers can carry out centralized monitoring, remote control and unified command of offshore crude oil production on land, so as to minimize the loss of crude oil production and create greater economic benefits.

After the installation is completed, the Enping 20-4 platform will enter the drilling operation stage, with 23 wells planned to be developed and put into production in the second half of this year, which is expected to become the platform with the highest production in Enping Oilfield Group. At that time, the oil field will produce nearly 5000 tons of oil a day, equivalent to filling up 100000 cars.

It is worth mentioning that the Enping 20-4 offshore drilling and production platform is located in Enping Oilfield Group, which is one of the oilfields with the fastest growth in crude oil production in China. after the oilfields are fully put into production, the peak annual output of crude oil is more than 3.6 million tons.
