The improvement comes from Mod, the official game developer of Remedy, and Filippo Tarpini, a senior unreal engine developer, joined Remedy six months after the release of "Control" and has been tinkering with the game. He released the resolution and aspect ratio unlocking Mod earlier, and the native HDR support Mod a few days ago (see here).

CTOnews.com checked the Nexus Mods website and found that the Mod not only added native HDR to "Control", but also improved DLSS, added full ultra wide screen support, improved texture flow, improved ray tracing, added several further fixes and adjustments (such as FOV, skip introduction videos, disabled depth of field, etc.), which has been updated to version 1.4.

Obviously, the developer named Filippo Tarpini loves "Control" very much, this work is not the official patch content, but posted on the Mod website, and can not even guarantee a financial return.

Control is a paranormal third-person action adventure game released in August 2019, in which players will use supernatural abilities, custom equipment and interactive environments to work side by side with other agents of the control bureau to uncover strange experiments and secrets.

Remedy has previously announced that it will co-develop and release Control 2, a sequel to the game "Control" with 505Games, which will be sold on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S, with an initial development budget of 50 million euros (currently about 379 million yuan). Remedy will retain ownership of the game's intellectual property rights. Future net income from development, marketing and post-release investments and games will be split equally between 505 Games and Remedy.
