CTOnews.com May 14, Turkey's first pure electric smart SUV model TOGG T10X has been officially launched on the road, marking that Turkey has officially become the first country in the Middle East with independent R & D and production capacity of new energy vehicles.

Pre-orders for the model began on March 16, with a guide price of 953, 000 lira (CTOnews.com note: currently about 338700 yuan).

It is reported that the electric vehicle has aroused enthusiastic response in the local automobile retail market as soon as it was launched, and more than 170000 orders have been received so far. In order to meet the needs of domestic consumers, manufacturers have raised their production plans for this year from 12000 to 20000.

The Turkish government expects that TOGG's series of models will basically meet the domestic market demand and be exported overseas by 2025, and the total output is expected to exceed the million mark by 2030. According to industry experts, the new energy vehicle industry will contribute at least 50 billion US dollars to the Turkish economy and reduce the deficit by 7 billion US dollars in the next 15 years.

According to reports, Togg T10X is user-centric and can be connected to the Internet through its smart living solution for OTA remote updates. The car has 160kW / 218 HP and 350Nm torque and the T10X RWD (rear wheel drive) has a range of 314km and 523km.

In addition, the T10X has a dual-motor 435hp AWD all-wheel drive version that can accelerate from zero to 100 km / h in 4.8s, generating 700Nm of torque, although the model will be delivered with the 100th anniversary special series (October 29, 2023).

The data show that the 52.4 kWh version of T10X provides an energy consumption of 16.7 kWh / 100 km (WLTP), while the 88.5 kWh battery version provides an energy consumption of 16.9 kWh / 100 km (WLTP).

In terms of pricing, the T10X V1 RWD standard life version is 953 million lira, the V2 RWD standard life version is 105.5 million lira, and the V2 RWD long-lasting version is 121.5 million lira.
