This feature update will be released on November 16, 2021, and will end service on June 13, which means that Windows 10 21H2 will no longer receive quality updates or critical security updates, such as "Tuesday patch."

Microsoft will now force the Windows 10 22H2 feature update on Windows 10 21H2 systems and remind users, "if your system meets the criteria, please upgrade to Windows 11." On its Windows message center dashboard, Microsoft wrote:

"Windows 10 Home, Professional, Professional Education, and Workstation Professional 21H2 will be terminated on June 13, 2023. The June 2023 security update, which will be released on June 13, 2023, will be the last available update for these editions. After this date, devices running these versions will no longer receive monthly security and preview updates that include protection against the latest security threats.

To help protect you and improve productivity, Windows updates will automatically initiate feature updates for Windows 10 consumer and unmanaged enterprise devices that are out of service or within a few months of service termination.

Microsoft has announced that Windows 10 22H2 will be the last major version of Windows 10 and will end support in October 2025.
