CTOnews.com, May 13, according to the latest report released by market research agency Statcounter, in April this year, Google search accounted for 86.71% of all platform search engine markets; Bing search accounted for 7.14%; and Yahoo accounted for 2.14%, Xin Yandex accounted for 1.88%, Xing DuckGo accounted for 0.67%.

Microsoft launched Bing Chat in February this year. Microsoft says it has more than 100 million daily active users, but statistics show that market share is declining.

Philippe Ockenden, senior vice president of finance at Microsoft, previously said: "for every 1 percentage point increase in search advertising market share, our advertising business is expected to increase revenue by $2 billion (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 13.92 billion yuan)."

Bing chat did not boost Bing search's market share, which was created in October 2022, with a share of 9.92%, according to data released by the agency.
