Affected by the investigation, Tesla Automobile (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and Tesla (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. plan to push newly developed features for vehicles within the scope of the recall through car remote upgrade (OTA) technology, in order to reduce the risk of collision caused by excessive speed caused by stepping on the accelerator pedal for a long time. Features include:

(1) on vehicles that do not have the option of energy recovery braking strength, an option is provided to allow the driver to select energy recovery braking strength.
