CTOnews.com May 12, Panasonic today launched its flagship OLED TV MZ2500 series in Japan, featuring OLED panels with microlens technology and a new generation of HCX Pro AI processors that automatically optimize picture and sound quality based on what they are watching, offering 65-inch and 55-inch options.

The TV has speakers on both the top and side to provide a 360 3D sound experience, up to 160W for 65-inch MZ2500 speakers and 150W for 55-inch models. The screen uses a 4K Master HDR OLED panel, which is brighter than the competition. Panasonic claims that in order to reproduce the color transition of the master monitor, Panasonic has added a unique adjustment process to achieve a smooth black gradient effect of professional quality. Each OLED panel Panasonic has carried out one-to-one targeted measurements on the production line, and fine-tuned the white balance and color level performance according to the measurement results.

Panasonic's TV is equipped with a new generation of HCX Pro AI processors that use AI for image analysis and automatically adjust the quality of each frame. MZ2500 is equipped with HDMI 2.1interface and supports VRR, Nvidia G-SYNC, Nvidia SPD game mode, AMD FreeSYNC Premium and VRF variable refresh rate technology, which can be used to connect PS5 and Xbox game consoles to achieve 4K 120Hz image transmission; at the same time, it supports power supply through HDMI cable.

CTOnews.com learned that Panasonic MZ2500 TV supports a variety of HDR formats, including Dolby Vision IQ, Dolby Vision, Filmmaker Mode, HLG Photo;. In addition, Panasonic supports HDR10 + adaptive function, which automatically adjusts the picture according to ambient light; and supports dual Bluetooth connection, which can be connected to two devices at the same time, and the intelligent system supports Alexa voice control. The MZ2500 series will go on sale on July 21.
