What if it's remote? That is, the server and the client are not in the same place, they are connected through the Internet. In fact, this is the real situation of using SAP. I think there are several ways to deal with this situation:

The server surfs the Internet through a dedicated line.

First: the server is directly connected to the Internet, and this machine has a public network IP, so the client application server can directly fill in the server's public network IP. This situation is not secure and should not be adopted.

Second: the server does not directly access the Internet, but accesses the Internet through the router + firewall, and then maps ports such as 3200 on the router to the intranet IP of the server through port mapping.

The application server of the client can directly fill in the public network IP of the server, and the security is slightly better.

First and second, if the server is a dynamic IP, you can install dynamic domain name software such as peanut shell on the server, so that the client application server will fill in the peanut shell domain name applied by the server.

The third kind: surfing the Internet through a proxy server on the basis of the second kind, and then surfing the Internet through a special VPN device, and the two sides virtualize a local area network in VPN, then the client application server can directly fill in the server's virtual local area network IP. This situation has good security and should be the most commonly used, but it requires special investment in VPN equipment.

Fourth: like ours is just a practice, the server is installed at home, the office's own computers on the client (or vice versa), both computers are in their own local area network, in addition to the first and second methods, you can also use VNN software, which is also the reason I mentioned earlier, VNN is also a virtual LAN software, and is free, with the function of penetrating the local area network As long as both parties install VNN software and apply for account login, a virtual local area network is formed between the two parties on the Internet, and there is a unique security encryption mechanism, so that the client application server can fill in the server's VNN account XXX.USER.VNN.CN, and there is no need for software such as port mapping and peanut shell.

1. Dial into the company's intranet through vpn and get the intranet ip, just like the office

2. The web server that installs its is connected to RComp3. The implementation method is similar to that of the website. You need to install two sites in combination with iis, generally using different ports, one is an application website, and the other is managed. The configuration can be changed through web. Importantly, register the relevant services in R3 to the ITS server.

3. Install saprouter on a machine with a public network ip, preferably as a service. When logging in to gui, enter the ip address in the saprouter in the attribute.
