The SSD sequential read speed is up to 7400 MB/s, the sequential write speed is up to 7000 MB/s, and the random read / write speed is increased by 60%. Other performance improvements include DRAM cache and SLC cache.

According to MSI, the SPATIUM M480 PRO HS is the pinnacle of its SPATIUM series, with three storage capacities-1 TB, 2 TB and 4 TB. Equipped with bronze aluminum fins, the stacked fin structure effectively dissipates heat, reducing the SSD temperature by up to 20 °C under load.
