According to the operation of the public charging infrastructure, there were 67000 more public charging piles in April 2023 than in March, and an increase of 52.0% in April compared with the same period last year. As of April 2023, a total of 2.025 million public charging piles have been reported by the members of the alliance, including 855000 DC charging piles and 1.169 million AC charging piles. From May 2022 to April 2023, about 58000 new public charging piles were added every month.

The operation of public charging infrastructure in provinces, autonomous regions and cities, the construction of public charging piles in Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Beijing, Hubei, Shandong, Anhui, Fujian and Henan TOP10 areas accounted for 71.4%. The national charging power is mainly concentrated in Guangdong, Jiangsu, Hebei, Zhejiang, Sichuan, Fujian, Shanghai, Shaanxi, Henan, Shandong and other provinces, and the electricity flow is mainly bus and passenger cars. Sanitation logistics vehicles, taxis and other types of vehicles account for relatively small. In April 2023, the country's total rechargeable electricity was about 2.68 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 190 million kilowatt-hours over the previous month, an increase of 89.1 percent over the same period last year, and an increase of 7.7 percent over the previous month.

The operation of public charging infrastructure operators, as of April 2023, the number of charging piles operated by national charging operators TOP15 They are: 397000 sets of special call operation, 377000 sets of star charging operation, 311000 units of cloud fast charging operation, 196000 units of State Grid operation, 107000 units of Xiaocu charging operation, 87000 units of Weijing Cloud operation, 74000 units of Shenzhen vehicle power grid operation, 73000 units of Southern Power Grid operation, 71000 units of Yiwei energy operation, 530000 units of remittance charging operation, Wancheng Wanchong operates 51000 units, Wanma Aichong operates 29000 units, Azure Fast Chong operates 27000 units, SAIC Anyue operates 25000 units, and China Putian operates 24000 units. These 15 operators account for 93.9% of the total, while the rest account for 6.1% of the total.

According to the overall operation of charging infrastructure, from January to April 2023, the increment of charging infrastructure was 882000, of which the increment of public charging piles increased by 167.7 percent over the same period last year, and the increment of private charging piles built with cars continued to rise, up 60.8 percent from the same period last year. As of April 2023, the cumulative number of charging infrastructure in the country was 6.092 million, an increase of 95.9% over the same period last year.

Comparing charging infrastructure with electric vehicles, from January to April 2023, the increment of charging infrastructure was 882000 units, sales of new energy vehicles were 2.222 million, and charging infrastructure and new energy vehicles continued to grow rapidly. The increment ratio of pile to truck is 1RU 2.5, and the construction of charging infrastructure can basically meet the rapid development of new energy vehicles.
