CTOnews.com, May 10, a paper recently published by the University of Aalto in Finland studied the relationship between the number of browser tabs and the psychology of netizens. The survey results show that most of the respondents think they will feel some pressure after opening more than six tabs.

In terms of feeling clear pressure, everyone has a different experience, and there is no specific threshold for the number of tags. However, most respondents said that if you open 1-3 browser windows and run 5-10 tabs in each window, you will begin to feel some form of stress or anxiety (pop-up notifications / advertisements, how the information is organized, etc.).

Of the 400 online participants and 16 offline participants, 57% of the respondents said they could tolerate the confusion caused by too many tabs, 18% said there was no problem at all, and 25% said they could not stand the tabs.
