Thanks to CTOnews.com netizen South China Wu Yanzu for the clue delivery! CTOnews.com EIZO China today announced the Raptor SQ2826, a lightweight 28.1-inch master display with a resolution of 2Kx2K (2048 x 2048) for air traffic control (ATC). It is an upgraded version of Raptor SQ2825 monitor.

The Raptor SQ2826 claims to be the world's first lightweight 2Kx2K ATC Smart Master Monitor, weighing 9.2kg and compliant with the 100x100mm VESA mounting standard, requiring no adapters or additional brackets.

Raptor SQ2826 is the 6th generation ATC master display of Artshow. The frame of the display is reduced to 15.5mm. The bottom frame can be selected with or without OSD button.

Raptor SQ2826 also claims to be the industry's first master display with built-in image capture function on the surface layer. Using the video signal loop out function of the display, all displayed image contents, including OSD menu operation of the display, can be streamed to the second 2Kx2K signal compatible display through DVI.

Raptor SQ2826 can also output signals via ArtSmart's Re / Vue encoding and streaming devices and SafeGuard data capture and content management solutions for remote real-time viewing or recording to servers, enabling a fully integrated ATC vision system.

In addition, Raptor SQ2826 supports Last Frame Display, which automatically displays the last frame image before any signal interruption, accompanied by status information to inform ATCO of the current status.

The monitor also integrates ArtSmart's SwitchLink internal switch management technology, eliminating the need for an external KVM switch and connecting up to six workstations.

In terms of display, Raptor SQ2826 is equipped with a direct backlight system with brightness stabilization function, a lightweight industrial-grade aluminum body, a built-in power supply design, an optional glass protection panel covering the LCD panel, and 24/7 operation.
