CTOnews.com, May 10 / PRNewswire-Asianet /-- Microsoft recently released its 2023 work trend Index report, which focuses on employees' views on artificial intelligence and its impact on productivity.

According to the report, 2/3 of respondents said they did not have enough time and energy to get the job done, while 49 per cent worried that artificial intelligence would affect their jobs.

Microsoft said the report surveyed 31000 employees from 31 countries and analyzed "trillions of aggregate productivity signals in Microsoft 365 and LinkedIn labor market trends".

2/3 of employees have to deal with a large number of e-mails and chat messages every day, which affects their work efficiency and does not have enough time and energy to get the job done.

62% of employees said that working every day wastes a lot of time in finding information, communication and coordination, and does not have enough time to innovate and cooperate with others.

49% of the respondents were worried that their jobs would be "robbed" by artificial intelligence.

70% of the respondents hope that artificial intelligence can do more work and reduce their workload.

82% of the business leaders surveyed believe that employees need to have new skills related to artificial intelligence.

Microsoft's mention of "GPT" or "GAI" (generating artificial intelligence) in the US LinkedIn job list increased by 79 per cent compared with the same period last year.
