CTOnews.com, May 9, the follow-up to Google's celebration of the 10th anniversary of Play Store, after enabling new icons for Play Store and Play Games, brought new icons to Google Play Books today.

The new icon remains triangular, increasing the roundness of the three corners. Like the new Play Games icon, Play Books no longer has highlights, removes the book, and embeds a light blue bookmark at the top.

Foreign technology media 9to5Google believes that Google will continue to retain the name "Play Books" and will not reshape its brand.

Google also plans to redesign the tablet app for Play Books to provide drawer navigation, or it may deploy Material You design elements, introduce new widgets, and so on, CTOnews.com quoted the media as saying.
