Thanks to CTOnews.com netizen Brother Black fly's left hand clue delivery! According to leaked internal documents, artificial intelligence will be the central theme of Google I / O at Google's developer conference this year, according to leaked internal documents, and the company plans to release a series of generative artificial intelligence (AIGC) feature updates, including the launch of a generic large language model (LLM).

Google will launch its latest and most advanced LLM--PaLM 2, according to the internal document. PaLM 2 supports more than 100 languages and runs internally under the code name "unified language model". Google also conducted extensive coding and math tests, as well as creative writing tests and analysis.

The document also shows that at this event, Google will announce the theme of how artificial intelligence "helps people reach their full potential", including the "generative experience" of Bard and search. Sandal Sundar Pichai, chief executive of Google and its parent company Alphabet, will give a speech to developers on the company's progress in artificial intelligence.

Google's update comes as competition in artificial intelligence intensifies, as both the company and Microsoft compete to integrate chat artificial intelligence technology into their products. Microsoft is using its investment in OpenAI, the creator of ChatGPT, to support its Bing search engine, and Google has moved quickly to integrate its Bard technology in different teams and launch its own LLM.

Google first announced the launch of the PaLM Language model in April 2022. In March, the company launched an API for PaLM and a range of artificial intelligence enterprise tools, which it said would help companies "generate text, images, code, video, audio, etc." through simple natural language prompts.

Last month, Google said its medical LLM, called Med-PaLM 2, could answer "expert doctor" medical examination questions with 85 per cent accuracy.

Google also plans to share the progress made in Bard and search, providing so-called "generative experiences", including the use of Bard for coding, math and "logic", as well as extension to Japanese and Korean, according to the documents. Google has been developing a series of more powerful Bard models and officially launched them as an experiment in March.

Google has also internally developed a version of a multimodal model called Multi-Bard, which uses larger data sets to help solve complex mathematical and coding problems, according to another internal document. In addition, Google has tested versions called "Big Bard" and "Giant Bard".

Google also plans to expand its "Workspace AI collaborator" to discuss template generation in worksheets and image generation in slides and Meet products. In March, the company said it would allow a small number of users to access artificial intelligence in Gmail and Google Docs as part of testing, and plans to introduce more generative artificial intelligence into its meetings, worksheets and slide show applications.

One of the pictures shows a slide sidebar with a chat box that allows the user to enter text and optionally create an image based on the text. Other updates include the use case for the image recognition tool Google Lens. Google will show improvements to its "multi-search" technology for cameras and voice after allowing users to ask about the content of the images they are watching last year.

There were earlier reports that Google would show off its new foldable phone, the Pixel Fold, outside the field of artificial intelligence. The company claims that the Pixel Fold will have "the most durable hinges on foldable phones" and will offer a trade-in option. Google claims that the biggest selling points of Pixel Fold are waterproof and pocket-sized.
