CTOnews.com, May 8 (Xinhua)-- the second China Eastern C919 domestic aircraft was unveiled at Shanghai Pudong Airport today for its first flight for an hour, according to pictures taken by blogger @ Lao Wang RR turbofan machine.

On May 8, flight 13 50 c919 took off from Pudong Airport, temporary registration number Bmur001K, following the temporary registration number previously used by ARJ21. This is the first flight of the eighth C919 and will be the second C919 to be delivered to China Eastern Airlines.

On December 9, 2022, Comac delivered the world's first C919 domestic large airliner to China Eastern Airlines. According to data released by Comac, the catalogue price of the C919 aircraft is $99 million (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 684 million yuan), and the unit price of the RMB catalogue is 653 million yuan.

The data show that the C919 large airliner is the first trunk jet airliner developed by China in accordance with international airworthiness standards and with independent intellectual property rights. It was established in 2007 and flew for the first time in 2017, with a seat class of 158,192 seats and a range of 4075-5555 km.

According to a screenshot released by blogger @ Dingshengfengqing, passengers on the first domestic flight of China Eastern Airlines, the world's first C919 aircraft, began to register at the end of March.
