According to the results, Intel's revenue in the first quarter was $11.7 billion, down 36% from a year earlier and down from $14 billion in the previous quarter. AMD's revenue was $5.353 billion, down 9% from a year earlier, down from $5.599 billion in the previous quarter.

In addition to the revenue decline in the first quarter compared with the same period last year, Intel and AMD, the two major chip manufacturers, also expect revenue to decline in the second quarter compared with the same period last year, while month-on-month revenue is expected to increase, but it is also likely to continue to decline.

In the earnings report, Intel expects second-quarter revenue of $11.5 billion (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 79.465 billion yuan)-$12.5 billion (currently about 86.375 billion yuan) 12, significantly lower than the $15.3 billion in the second quarter of last year, while AMD expects revenue of about $5.3 billion (currently about 366.23 billion yuan), fluctuating by $300 million and less than the $6.55 billion in the second quarter of last year.

According to the revenue forecasts given by the two companies, Intel's second-quarter revenue will grow month-on-month as long as it is more than $200m higher than the lower limit, while AMD will be $353 million higher than the lower limit.
