CTOnews.com May 8 news, the acclaimed horror adventure independent game "Little Nightmare" series has been released for six years, the series publisher Tarsier Studios announced at the end of April "Little Nightmare" series cumulative sales exceeded 12 million copies. Little Nightmare 2 was released in February 2021, but there has been no news about a sequel.

Recently, Bandai Nanmeng Palace Europe released a new recruitment message on LinkedIn, suggesting that it plans to develop a sequel to this well-known game IP. At present, it has begun to recruit staff specialized in "Little Nightmare" IP.

Bandai's job description for "Little Nightmare IP Content Creation and Distribution Leader" reads "Responsible for managing product development from concept to release" and "evaluating project quality with game evaluation team in early development stages and making recommendations to development team."

CTOnews.com has learned that Tarsier Studios, the developer of Little Nightmare, was acquired by Embracer Group in December 2019. The studio officially withdrew after the release of Little Nightmare 2 in 2021, so Bandai Nanmeng Palace now owns the IP of the Little Nightmare series.

In this game, the player plays a little girl who wakes up from a ship, explores the ship and gradually discovers the secrets behind the ship. In addition, the game also has another story line-DLC version, a total of three chapters, the player plays the role of a little boy.

It is worth mentioning that the official version of "Little Nightmare Full Edition" is also available on Nintendo Switch, and the NS version includes all DLC so far. Originally scheduled to launch in winter 2022, the mobile game "Little Nightmare" is now scheduled to be released this year on iOS and Android platforms.
