There is a function in Excel to increase the print area without deleting the set print area.
Procedure:
❶ select the area to be printed, and click "print area"-"set print area" in the "Page layout" tab.
❷ click "Page Preview" in the "View" tab, select the area that needs to be added to the print area, and right-click to select "add to print area".

In our work, we often encounter this situation: several forms are put on the same worksheet, and we need to print each form onto a separate piece of paper.
For example: the following four forms, we need to print to four pages of paper, how to deal with this?
At this time, we use the function of "paging printing".
"pagination printing" is very simple, in order to make it easier for you to see it more intuitively, we first change the page to [paging preview] mode.
❶ first click "Page Preview" in the "View" tab to enter the page preview mode ~
❷ selects the appropriate column or row, clicks the "separator" in the "Page layout" tab, and selects "insert Page break", which divides the worksheet into the appropriate number of pages just like cutting watermelon.
❸ press the shortcut key [Ctrl+P], click [print], and you can print them on separate paper.
4. Classification and paging printing frequency: ★

In the previous case, we have to print the data of the same city on one page.
Let's take a look at the steps:
❶ Click "Classification Summary" in the "data" tab ~
❷, on the classified summary page, fill in:
[category field]: city name
[summary method]: summation
[selected summary item]: city name
You can use the default option. But be sure to check [each set of data pagination], which automatically inserts page breaks between different cities, eliminating the hassle of manual insertion.
❸ selects any column except column An and column B, use the [F5] shortcut to bring up the positioning conditions page, select [Null]-[OK], then right-click, and select delete [entire row].
❹ will delete the summary column, and then "paging print" will be fine.

If you want to have a title row on each page, you need to click print title on the Page layout tab.
Then set the [top title line] in [Page setup] to the title line that needs to be printed, and finally click "OK".
5. Print header and footer frequency: ★★★

In practice, what if you want to add the company name or Logo and the number of pages to each printed page?
At this time, you need to use the header and footer function in Excel.
▋ fixed format
❶ can enter the page setup page by clicking the button in the lower right corner of the "Page layout" tab.
❷ select [header / footer], and you can select the set format directly in the drop-down arrow of [header or footer].
▋ Custom format
Excel not only provides fixed format headers and footers, but also allows users to customize the format ~
❶ returns to the "Page setup" window above, and click "Custom header / footer" to set information.
❷ takes custom footer settings as an example. According to your needs, you can insert page numbers, dates, file information, tables and pictures in the left, middle and right of the footer.

6. Print all worksheets with frequency: ★★★

In practice, we often need to print out all the worksheets in a workbook.
Do you want to click on each worksheet and print it? Of course not.
Use the shortcut key [Ctrl+P] to enter the printed page in Excel, and change [print active worksheet] to [print entire workbook] in the settings, thus OK ~
Is it easy to stir-fry chicken? Don't print one by one in the future.
7. Do not print error value usage frequency: ★★
Operation difficulty: ★
Now, we have been able to cope with most of the printing needs in our daily work.
However, we may also encounter in the work: there are wrong values caused by formula calculation in the printed form, but these error values are not suitable for printing on paper, do we have to delete them first and then print them?
Of course not, Excel can easily deal with it, do not print error values ~
❶ enter [Page setup], and click [worksheet] in the pop-up window.
❷ finds [error cells are displayed as] in the print bar, and selects the way you want to display error cells. For example, if I choose [] here, the error value cells printed out will be blank.

In addition to the error values in the worksheet, some datasheets also have annotations, so is there a way to print out all the annotations in the datasheet?
Of course there is!
We also find the instructions and comments in the print bar on the worksheet page in the page setup, and select where you want the comments to appear, for example, we select the end of the worksheet.
Then in the printed data, there will be one more page to display the cell where the annotation is located, the person who added the annotation, the content of the annotation and the date.
9. Other usage frequency: ★

Printing a data table with Excel is also used occasionally. For example, at work, the shading and color in the data table cannot be displayed. In this case, we need to check "monochrome print" in the print bar in "Page setup".
If you want to display gridlines in the printed data table, you need to check "gridlines" in the "print" column in the "Page setup".
