"Heritage of Hogwarts has accumulated sales of more than $1 billion and has so far sold 15 million worldwide," David Zaslav, chief executive of Warner Bros. Discovery, said on today's earnings call.

The Legacy of Hogwarts has become Warner Bros. Discovery's fifth IP game with sales of more than $1 billion, with the other four being LEGO, DC, Mortal Kombat and Game of Thrones.

JB Perrette, the company's global chief executive of streaming and games, said that the Switch version of the Legacy of Hogwarts will be launched in July this year, and that the Switch version is very important for game sales.

"We think this will attract more players, and the Switch version will have more room to rise, much more than the PS5 and Xbox versions," he said.
