According to official confirmation, the orange pie Orange Pi handset is available in both Windows and Linux versions, with AMD R7 6800U or AMD R7 7840U processors in the Windows version and Ruixin Microprocessor RK3588 in the Linux version.

As can be seen from the rendering, the handset uses a Switch-like handle layout and the iconic orange-black color matching of the fragrant orange pie. The handset, with a 7-inch screen, is tentatively scheduled to go on sale during the 2023 National Day (October 1). The AMD R7 7840U processor has become the preferred processor for many new generation handsets with its powerful core display of 780m. In the 3DMark test, the performance of Radeon 780m core display with LPDDR5X-6400 memory is between RTX 2050 and GTX 1650 Ti.

The AMD R7 6800U is a common processor of the previous generation of handheld phones, which is equipped with 6nm Zen3+ CPU core architecture and 680m core display with RDNA2 architecture.

Ruixin RK3588 is a high-performance ARM architecture chip launched at the end of 2021, using 8nm process, equipped with ARM Mali-G610 MC4 GPU, and 4*Cortex-A76 + 4*Cortex-A55 eight-core CPU, so this model can also be used as an Android handset.
