In accordance with the Standardization Law of the People's Republic of China and the Administrative Measures for Mandatory National Standards, the First Department of Equipment Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology organized the National Automobile Standardization Technical Committee to carry out the revision of four mandatory national standards, including the Technical Requirements for Information Safety of Entire Vehicles, the Automatic Driving Data Recording System of Intelligent Networks, the External Projections of Passenger Vehicles and the External Projections of Commercial Vehicle Cab. Draft for comments has been formed. Opinions from all walks of life are now openly solicited. The deadline for comments is July 5, 2023.

It is proposed in the draft for comments of Intelligent Network Auto Driving Data Recording System that the automatic driving data recording system shall record five types of data elements: basic information of vehicle and automatic driving data recording system, vehicle status and dynamic information, automatic driving system operation information, driving environment information and driver operation and status information. The data recorded by the automatic driving data recording system is mainly used for responsibility judgment and accident analysis after the accident occurs. Therefore, whether the data has not been tampered with and has basic credibility plays an important role in determining whether the data is available. Because this standard puts forward baseline requirements for the information security of the automatic driving data recording system, it ensures the integrity and authenticity of the recorded data to prevent data tampering, malicious deletion and forgery. When the integrity and authenticity of the data are damaged, It shall be possible to identify and log by technical means.
