CTOnews.com May 5 news, Haima Motor said on the interactive platform today that the company's relevant cooperation is progressing smoothly, and the functional prototype car equipped with Toyota electric push system has been successfully trial-produced at the end of April 2023, with a view to carrying out small-batch demonstration operation in the fourth quarter of 2023.

Seahorse said it began developing hydrogen fuel cell vehicles in 2013 and has developed a fourth generation of hydrogen fuel cell passenger vehicles that can be used for demonstration operation. Related products are equipped with 70MPa hydrogen storage tank, 100KW stack power, a hydrogenation can travel 800km.

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, in March this year, Haima announced the signing of a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. The two sides agreed to carry out business cooperation and establish a strategic partnership in the field of research and development and industrialization of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.

According to the announcement, the two sides regard Hainan Island as a large-scale experience test ground, carrying and using mature components and systems, including Japan's Toyota second-generation Mirai stack, on the third-generation hydrogen fuel cell vehicles of Haima Motor, to complete vehicle adaptability development, and combine the self-built hydrogen energy supply system of Haima Motor and travel network to carry out testing. Strive to put into small batch (200units) to carry out demonstration operation in 2023, and plan the operation scale of 2000 units in 2025.
