CTOnews.com, May 5, Google launched the Trusted Tester test program in late March this year, inviting users to test and generate artificial intelligence in Gmail and Docs.

Google announced today that it will expand the scale of Trusted Tester testing by a factor of 10, inviting more users to participate in the test. Users can click "Labs in Google Workspace" to join, but it is still limited to US users.

Google has introduced a floating operation button (FAB) on the mobile side and a "Help me write" button on the web side. When the user clicks the button, the prompt pops up, and CTOnews.com translates as follows:

Users need to enter at least 6 words. For better results, consider including the recipient, the topic, and the tone you want to convey in the prompt. For example: "do not attend the parent-teacher meeting, say sorry to the teacher."

After generating the content, the user can choose "Recreate" (recreate) or "Refine" (optimize). There are four options before insertion:

Formalize (formalization): make drafts more formal.

Elaborate (detailed description): add details to the text.

Shorten (Shorten): shortens content.
