CTOnews.com, May 5 (Xinhua) the 2023 Fortune China ESG influence list is the second since the list was founded last year. The number of companies declared this year has increased by 50% over last year, to nearly 100, of which 80% are Fortune 500 companies, China's top 500 or industry leaders.

Some of the companies on the list:

Ningde Times New Energy Technology Co., Ltd.: the global market share of Ningde era rose to 37% from 33% in 2021. Greenhouse gas emission intensity from operations in 2022 decreased by nearly 25% compared with the previous year.

Societe Generale Co., Ltd.: for the fourth year in a row, Societe Generale has been ranked as the highest A rating in China's banking sector in the MSCI ESG rating. By the end of the year, the bank's green loan balance was 637.07 billion yuan, an increase of 40.34% over the end of last year. Among them, clean energy, water resources industry, solid waste treatment and other key areas.

Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd.: GAC GROUP's goal is to achieve carbon neutralization in the whole life cycle of the product by 2050. GAC Ean plans to build GAC GROUP's first zero-carbon plant in 2023. GAC is also increasing the proportion of intelligent network-connected new energy vehicles and energy-efficient vehicles: GAC MOTOR is fully hybrid; in 2025, its own brand new energy vehicles will account for 50% of sales; in 2030, it will achieve the group's goal of 50% of new energy vehicles; in addition, it is developing alternative fuel models, including hydrogen power.

SF Holdings Co., Ltd.: SF has put in more than 26000 new energy vehicles, covering 232 cities. By the end of 2022, the construction of roof photovoltaic power stations in 9 industrial parks will be completed, with an annual generating capacity of 9.843 million kilowatt hours, and packaging reduction, reuse, recycling and degradation will be implemented. SF reduced its carbon emissions by about 506000 tons by promoting the use of green packaging.

Alibaba Group holding Co., Ltd.: Alibaba put forward three goals of carbon neutralization: to achieve carbon neutralization in its own operation no later than 2030; to halve the carbon emission intensity of the upstream and downstream value chains no later than 2030, and to take the lead in realizing carbon neutralization in cloud computing; take 15 years to drive ecological carbon reduction by 1.5 billion tons with the power of the platform.

JD.com Group: JD.com logistics led the industry to reduce disposable packaging by 10 billion, equivalent to reducing the felling of about 20 million trees. Since Jingdong in 2022, JD.com has jointly launched the "Green Plan", which selects millions of high-quality green products to be labeled "green" to help consumers make choices.
