CTOnews.com, May 5 (Xinhua) Apple CEO Tim Cook (Tim Cook) shared Apple's sales in China during an earnings call in the second quarter of 2023.

Cook revealed that 3/4 of the Apple Watch sold in China are first-time buyers, and 6/10 of Chinese customers who buy Mac or iPad are first-time buyers.

"China has a lot of very good indicators for new buyers. If you investigate the best-selling smartphones in China, four of the top five could be iPhone," Mr Cook said.

Apple reported second-quarter revenue of $94.8 billion (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 655.068 billion yuan), quarterly net profit of $24.1 billion (currently about 166.531 billion yuan), and diluted earnings per share of $1.52.

Of this total, Apple's services revenue reached another record high of $20.9 billion (currently about 144.419 billion yuan), while iPhone revenue of $51.3 billion (currently about 354.483 billion yuan) also broke the previous quarterly sales record, but Mac revenue was $7.2 billion (currently about 497.52 billion yuan), down from $104 billion in the same period last year.
