According to news from CTOnews.com on May 4, Acer today announced its results for the first quarter of 2023, with a combined turnover of NT $52.46 billion (CTOnews.com Note: currently about RMB 11.803 billion), down 12% from the previous month and 33% from the same period last year. Gross profit reached NT $5.36 billion (currently about NT $1.206 billion), maintaining a profit margin of 10.2%, while inventories were further reduced to NT $39.46 billion (currently about NT $8.878 billion).

Acer's board of directors today announced the establishment of the position of general manager, to be held by Jane Huixiang, effective immediately. Jane Huixiang has been with the company for more than 20 years and has achieved excellent results during the digital display business and the chairman of Acer subsidiary Jian'er, the announcement said.
