CTOnews.com May 3 news, Microsoft on April 26 for Win11 22H2 devices, released a non-security optional update KB5025305, after installation version number increased to Build 22621.1635.

CTOnews.com checked Microsoft's official Feedback Hub, Reddit community and Twitter social platform and found various problems with this optional update.

Unable to install: According to user posts on Feedback Hub, the update progress will be stuck at 22%, after which the update will continue to cycle from 0%, unable to continue downloading and installing.

Another user reported that updates were stuck at 25%. When they reboot their computers, updates remain at 25% and do not proceed further.

Game Crash: There is user feedback that the game crashes after installing the update. After upgrading the patch, running Metro will cause a stuck problem.

Kaspersky kill software is not compatible with user feedback that Kaspersky kill software is not compatible with Build 22621.1635 update. Kaspersky will pop up: "Running Kaspersky on the current Win11 version, some features will be restricted."

Kaspersky engineers confirmed that the issue is related to the latest Windows 11 update and the company is investigating the matter. The warning should only appear once.

Another user claimed that the update could cause firewall problems, suggesting Kaspersky needed to issue an emergency update to correct the conflict. The problem is believed to have affected thousands of computers worldwide.
