CTOnews.com, May 3 (Xinhua)-- Motorola is about to launch a Razr 40 Ultra folding screen phone overseas. According to a new report from XDA, the phone does not use the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, but carries Snapdragon 8 + Gen 1 chip. Its competitor Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 is expected to launch in July, using Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.

The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra will have 12 GB+512 GB storage, have dual SIM card models or eSIM models, both support NFC and fingerprint recognition; rear 12MP wide-angle camera (CTOnews.com note: Sony IMX563 sensor) and 13MP ultra-wide-angle SK Hynix Hi1336 sensor, the inner screen uses a 32MP selfie camera, OmniVision OV32B40 sensor.

The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra will be available in black, blue and red, equipped with 3640mAh batteries, support for 33W charging, and are expected to run an Android 13-based My UX system.
