CTOnews.com, May 3 (Xinhua)-- Apple has filed a request with the London court to dismiss the "baseless" iPhone battery door lawsuit, according to Reuters.

CTOnews.com learned from the lawsuit that Apple described the class action as "baseless" and denied defective batteries, except for free battery replacement for some iPhone 6s models.

Apple stressed that it did not mislead customers about the battery issue, and in 2017 publicly apologized and offered low-cost battery replacement services.

David David Wolfson, a lawyer who spoke for Apple, said the plaintiffs argued that "batteries do not provide the required peak power in all scenarios", which is clearly unreasonable and that every electronic product that uses lithium batteries is bound to have the problem of battery aging, and there is no basis for filing a lawsuit.
