However, this "subversive" feature has been out of date for several months, and Microsoft doesn't seem to care.

According to Microsoft's official support forum and feedback center, when they try to connect their Spotify account to the clock app, there will be a blank login interface that will not be able to use the feature properly. Users reflected the same problem on Spotify forums, and after several attempts to fix the invalid application, a Spotify representative revealed that the problem was with Windows-the clock application could not communicate with Spotify's service because a certificate expired. A representative of Spotify said: "We checked and found that this is currently a known limitation on Windows because a certificate has expired, resulting in the oATH header sent to Spotify API is no longer valid. Please contact Microsoft support directly for more detailed information and possible updates on focus mode clock integration."

It is speculated that this integration function failed at the beginning of this year for about three months (or more).
